How to Take Your Measurements for Hale Bob Sizing

Always keep a small amount of slack in the tape measure rather than pulling it taut to allow for the natural expansion of your chest as you breathe.
When a garment fits properly, you should be able to easily take a deep breath regardless of the cut and material of the piece.
Measuring Your Waist
When measuring your waist, place the tape measure at the narrowest part of your torso. This is your natural waist. (Everyone’s waist is positioned slightly differently depending on height and body composition, so take time to find yours).
Again, don’t pull the tape measure too tightly around your waist. Ensure a small amount of space to find the most comfortable size, even in unforgiving garments.
If you find that your waist measurements fall between sizes, we always recommend opting for a size up to allow for the natural fluctuations in your body throughout the day.
Measuring Your Hips
To measure your hips, place the measuring tape around the widest part of your hips. This may not be the visually widest part when viewing your body straight-on. The tape measure should pass over your buttocks for this measurement.
To get the most accurate sizing, you might need to take a couple of measurements to find the widest part of your hips.
As with measuring your chest, the tape measure should pass around your hips and buttocks in a level line to get proper measurements.

How Does Hale Bob Clothing Fit?
